Cleaning out the refrigerator doesn’t have to be as scary as it seems. It is essential that the frig is kept clean to reduce the risk of food poisoning and smelly odors. Follow these simple steps and you can have a cleaner frig in no time!
Empty the Frig
You can decide to empty each section at a time or empty the entire frig all at once. If you decide to empty everything at once it may cause you to work a little faster. Anything that is expired, should go right into the trash.
Wipe Everything Down
Take out all the removable parts from the frig and wipe them all down with a mix of warm water and dish soap. Soak the drawers to get rid of the tough stains. Wipe down the doors. For stuck on stains, mix a small amount of baking soda and warm water until it is a toothpaste consistency. Apply the mix on the stuck on stains and leave it for 30 minutes before wiping it off with a damp cloth. Wipe the bottoms of the containers and jars that are going back into the frig.
Restock the Frig
Dry the shelves and drawers and place them back into the frig. Put everything back into their designated spots. Take a step back and admire all your hard work.
